Exhibition of Buildings of Ghibli 2017

Fictional architectures, which may exist somewhere, appear in Studio Ghibli’s animation films. The exhibition will focus on the memorable architectures, and will be introduced under the supervision of architect Terunobu Fujimori. From“Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind”to“When Marnie Was There”, about 450 production materials, including background drawings, image boards and art settings, and 3D models of Representative works. The exhibition will investigate the Studio’s commitment to creating imaginary and realistic environments which provide the stage for the stories.
