Akasaki festival 2018

A festival telling the arrival of summer to Toba
Long ago, from the legend that homes escaped from the episode when epidemic diseases occurred in this district, as a prayer of misery, there is continuing practice of hanging the twigs of this shrine’s cedar at the door of houses on the day of festival every year. Many stalls line up on the day of the festival and many visitors worship at Yukata, so they are familiar with local people because of the nickname “Yukata Festival”. It is held on June 22 every year.
