English Sightseeing Tour in Bunkyo(Mar, 2018)

Bunkyo City is pleased to offer foreigners a walking tour, organized by Bunkyo English Volunteer Guides. Visiting Spots: 1.Gokokuji: This temple was built in 1681 by the 5th Edo Shogun Tokugawa Tsunayoshi. The main hall of this temple is the largest wooden building of that time, existing in Tokyo to date. 2.Higo Hoskawa Garden: A strolling garden with ponds and hills where the Japanese style house of the Kumamoto Lord was located. It has been recently renovated. 3. Edogawa Park: Let’s enjoy cherry blossom viewing along the Kanda River! You may get a sense of Japanese people’s special feelings for cherry blossoms!
