Sat, Jan. 26th, 11 am to 9 pm
Sun, Jan. 27th, 11 am to 7 pm
35 Japanese craft breweries, 1 Taiwan brewery, 1 Czech brewery, 6 craft beer importers, 300 total varieties of beer, 5 food vendors
After entry, guests may purchase beer from ¥300 per cup directly from vendors.
This event has a dual purpose; it is a beer competition judged by professionals in the industry and also a beer festival for the general public. The beer competition is held in the morning.
The action shifts in the afternoon to the beer festival, where guests can drink from 250 varieties of craft beer. Most single cups are around ¥500 (prices vary for each vendor). During the festival, the results of the morning competition are announced and an awards ceremony is held for the winning breweries. Note: there were many entries this time from breweries that are not necessarily serving at the festival so the awards may not go to a participating brewery.
In addition to having a spirited competition for breweries, it is our goal to provide guests the opportunity to enjoy the very beers being judged. If you are interested in the competition, by all means please come. After watching the judges analyze the beers, enjoy some beer while waiting for the results.
