A first time experience? A new discovery? SAKE JAPAN EXPO in TOKYO 2023″ opens in GW(*)!
SAKE JAPAN Corporation (Meguro-ku, Tokyo) will hold the first ever sake tasting exhibition “SAKE JAPAN EXPO in TOKYO 2023” in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo during Golden Week 2023, with a focus on sake breweries and Japanese entertainment, with a view to inbound and overseas exports. SAKE JAPAN EXPO in TOKYO 2023 will be held for the first time in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo during Golden Week 2023.
The four-day event will be held from April 29 (national holiday) to May 2 (Tuesday), and will be divided into two halves of two days, with 20 sake breweries each, for a total of 40 breweries exhibiting about 5 brands (over 200 brands in total) of sake that boast new attractions. Tickets for the tasting event (scheduled to last 2 hours), which will allow visitors to drink any of the more than 100 sake brands on each day, will go on sale on Wednesday, February 1.
In addition to the two banquet tasting events each day, there will also be special events (separate ticket, extra charge) with different contents for all four days. Actress Ai Fukuda, who will serve as the main ambassador, and other celebrities and personalities will liven up the planning events, and visitors can also enjoy sake & food tasting and sampling linked to the planning content, selected from a total of over 200 brands.
