A Premier Japanese Food Festival in Nagoya
“Aichi Sweet Potato Expo 2026” is a specialized culinary event showcasing Japan’s high-quality Satsumaimo (sweet potatoes). Held at the iconic Oasis 21 in Nagoya, this event brings together 16 renowned vendors from across the country, ranging from Hokkaido to Miyazaki.
What to Expect: Visitors can experience a vast array of sweet potato products, including traditional Yaki-imo (roasted sweet potatoes) of various cultivars, as well as innovative desserts and savory snacks. Both freshly prepared items and packaged products for souvenirs are available.
Admission System: To ensure a comfortable experience, the festival operates on a 75-minute timed entry system with 5 sessions daily.
Location: Oasis 21 “Ginga-no-Hiroba,” a landmark in Sakae, Nagoya.
Family Friendly: Admission is free for preschool-aged children.
