Yokohama Strawberry Festival 2026 is a popular event that brings together the charm of strawberries from across Japan. The festival will be held at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse starting on February 5, 2026. A record total of 45 vendors will participate, offering a wide variety of strawberry sweets, goods, and related products, creating a space filled with the sweet aroma of strawberries.
The event began in 2013 as a way to introduce new ways to enjoy strawberries and marks its 13th edition in 2026. Loved by strawberry fans nationwide, the festival welcomed approximately 580,000 visitors to Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse during the previous edition.
The theme for 2026 is Strawberry Trip. Through strawberries gathered from around Japan, visitors can discover the unique appeal of each region while also exploring Yokohama and the Minato Mirai area. The event extends beyond the venue, encouraging visitors to stroll through nearby areas such as Yokohama Station and Chinatown in search of special strawberry menus, creating a personalized strawberry journey.
Inside the venue, visitors can enjoy an extensive lineup of strawberry sweets, from classic favorites to the latest creations. The festival also features direct sales of locally grown strawberries from various regions, hands-on experience booths, and special programs. Highlights include collaboration events with the National Strawberry Conference, which brings together Japan’s top 10 strawberry-producing prefectures, a custom crepe experience where guests can choose their preferred strawberry varieties, daily free strawberry sampling, and limited-edition collaboration sweets made with strawberries from Okuma Town in Fukushima Prefecture.
During the festival period, more than 12 nearby facilities, including shopping complexes and hotels in the Yokohama and Minato Mirai areas, will also offer original strawberry menus. Together, the venue and surrounding neighborhoods create a seasonal celebration where visitors can fully immerse themselves in the flavors of strawberries throughout Yokohama.
