Discover the beauty of Okinawa’s traditional Bingata dyeing techniques by creating your own design on high-quality, natural cotton fabric. Participants motifs such as palm-sized flowers with the auspicious Shisa (lion-dog).
Participation Fee
Small Wall Hanging “Tapestry” (25cm × 45cm): ¥4,500
Furoshiki (Wrapping Cloth, 50cm × 50cm): ¥4,500
Shikifu (Table Centerpiece, 17cm × 13cm): ¥2,000
The Bingata Dyeing Workshop may be enjoyed without prior reservation, and is open to all participants, including children and those with no previous experience.
You are welcome to visit the venue on the day of the workshop.
However, advance reservations are also available. Please note that the number of places is limited, and priority will be given to those who have reserved in advance.
