Taking place at the Nakijin Castle Ruins, which have been inscribed as part of the World Heritage by UNESCO, the Nakijin Gusuku Cherry Festival will mark its eighth edition this year. Visitors to the festival will be able to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms both in the daytime and at night. You can see streets lined with brilliant cherry blossoms under the blue sky in the daytime and the fantastic castle and trees lit up by myriad lights at night. Other highlights of the festival include handmade crafts and a local food market as well as photographs with the Hokuzan king and queen.
