Using driftwood, sea glass, and other items washed up on the shoreline, as well as other items no longer needed in this world, contemporary artists have transformed them into unique works of “marebito art,” which are “marebito,” as advocated by folklorist Shinobu Orikuchi. During the event, we will be holding a workshop where anyone can participate for free and play with the “marebito.”
