JOMON: The Symbolism of Flame-shaped Pottery and the Jade Road

The Jomon Period, which lasted for more than 10,000 years, was regarded as a period of development of earthenware crafts and stoneware techniques. This exhibit introduces the wildness and image of fertility associated with primitive crafts, as well as the fluid way of life of the Jomon people. Come and experience the energy of the Jomon Period first-hand!
