The Sankeien has been a garden famous as well for its plum blossoms from the beginning of the garden. About 600 trees start to bloom from Feb.gradually until Mar.The Garyo-bai, the name comes from the shape of the trunk looks like a dragon lying down, and the Ryokugaku-bai (green calyx plum, sent from the Shanghai City) are very rare kinds.
