For the first time in 12 years, legendary ballerina Nina Ananiashvili returns to Japan with a ballet company, now a towering force, that she’s fostered for 20 years.

It is Christmas Eve. Young Barbare is at a Christmas house party. The kids are excited for presents from Drosselmeyer, and Barbare’s favorite is the Nutcracker. The party ends, and in the middle of the night, a war suddenly breaks out between the Mouse King and the dolls. While the Nutcracker is attacked, Barbare’s brave actions chase the Mouse King away, and the Nutcracker transformed into a prince, and they live a dream in a kingdom of sweets.
The production comes from the State Ballet of Georgia, as originally set in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
