“Yokohama Paratriennale” is an international art exhibition that creates and disseminates new artistic expressions in collaboration with citizens including people with disabilities and professionals in various fields such as artists. An international exhibition of contemporary art with the aim of “creating opportunities for people to meet and collaborate with the power of art, and to realize a community where everyone can feel their whereabouts and roles, regardless of obstacles.” It has been held once every three years as a “another (para)” triennale that is paired with the “Yokohama Triennale.”
The general director is Yoshie Kris, who is expanding her activities to remove the barriers between people with disabilities, art, and society. She is one of creative directors of Tokyo 2020 Opening Ceremony / Closing Ceremony.

2)BOOK PROJECT…Reading exhibition by artists with disabilities and artists from various fields
3)CIRCUS ANIMATION…Animated works co-created with circus artists from around the world
4)Paratri LAB…Online seminars on “food” and “media”
